Program Objective
A leader in the fast food industry wanted to implement an easy solution for awarding the prizes given at their regional corporate owned franchise leadership conference. In the past, they had spent vast resources in terms of time and money searching for products, hauling the products to each city (9 events), and then dealing with customer service issues related to each product.
iCoStore's solution was to develop a centralized ordering and distribution system (web-store) with a variety of products in key price points. Each "winner" was awarded a company event branded gift card to redeem at the event branded website. The categories - 1st, 2nd, 3rd - were pre-populated with products for each appropriate level.
Execution
Timelines were dictated by the meeting schedules that had been pre-scheduled. iCoStore was contacted at the beginning of August with a September 6 initial conference deadline. This program was executed flawlessly including the development of a separate web store for conference members to purchase logo apparel prior to the events.
Results & Success
Client - They are thrilled with how easy our program was and our professionalism. Several departments within the organization were watching this program to see how it was received by the customers. We have since been contacted by different divisions to work on implementing programs to meet other objectives.
Award Winner - The award winners were happy to be given the choice of their prize. Our feedback indicated our product choices were a nice mix. This claim is substantiated by the fact that out of a possible 10 products in the first place category 7 different products were selected. The customer also sent out surveys about their event and a couple of questions were about the iCoStore system. The responses were overwhelming that they liked having a choice of awards; they wondered why it hadn't been done in the past and wanted to know when the other events and divisions were going to adopt this system.
